Just a quick update to show you the sourdough, its turned out a lot better this time, after me thinking that my starter had died, I got some valuable information here http://webpages.charter.net/rhamley/bread/sdtips.htm
which stopped me doing a silly thing.
Anyway heres the White loaf
and heres the Rye
a bit denser, but a lovely flavour.
Also the crumble turned out well.

DeleteIt tasted good with home made Marmalade for breakfast! And with Yvonnes Boiled Eggs at Lunchtime. Perhaps I should start a mail order sideline?
