Out for the dog walk this afternoon, I found evidence that spring is on the way.
In other news, the slate sign that Yvonne had made for the front gate blew away in the recent gales, a pity as it was really well done,
So she did another and I nailed it up a bit better this time (I hope)
We went to Totnes Good Food this morning and as well as some fine meat and cakes, I got some mustard powder and seeds from the Happy Apple.
I mixed the seeds in the spice grinder, not too many black ones as they are hotter,

Then I added the powder, some of my home made vinegar, water and caster sugar, mixing to a paste.
That will go nicely with tonight's steak!
